Rear Admiral (JG) (Ret’d) E. Trevor Beddy retired as shareholder of BMC as of the 31/03/09

Trevor Beddy a founding partner of BMC, who retired as a Director of BMC 2 years ago, has retired as a shareholder. Trevor for many years the Managing Director of BMC set the company on its feet, since when it has gone from strength to strength. He will still be available as an associate and advisor to BMC. BMC appreciates Trevor’s unstinting support and enthusiasm for BMC Africa during his years with the company, and wishes him and his family good health and happiness in his retirement.

Capt Brian Watt retired as an Executive Director and Shareholder of BMC on the 31/03/09-03-09

Brian Watt a founding partner of BMC Africa has retired as an Executive Director and shareholder in BMC with the intent of only working out of his own private consultancy and thereby reducing his work load. He will still be available to BMC as an associate consultant and for advice as necessary. BMC appreciates Brian’s tremendous support and enthusiasm for the company since its founding and wishes him and his family good health and happiness in his retirement.

Mr Gavin Ritchie resigned as Director of BMC Africa on the 31-03-09

Gavin Ritchie a Non Executive Director of BMC Africa for the last 18 months has resigned from BMC Africa to concentrate on his own career in the mining industry. BMC thanks him for his support during his time with the company and wishes him well in his future endeavours.

Capt. Charles Reid appointed an Executive Director of BMC Africa on the 31-03-09

Charles Reid an existing Non Executive Director and partner in BMC Africa has been appointed an Executive Director in place of Capt. Watt.

BMC Going Forward:

In view of the retirements and resignation as recorded above, BMC will seek to strengthen the Board with new members from the Industry. At the same time it will seek to secure new partnerships and to expand the business, using the tremendous establishment work done by the founding partners, especially that of Trevor and Brian.
